Summary
The full job description provides an overview of the key tasks and responsibilities of the role and the person specification outlines the qualifications, skills, experience and knowledge required. For both overviews please view the Job Description attachment with the job advert. The Trust currently pays a recruitment and retention premium to Cardiac Physiologists in the Cardiac Directorate. You will receive a recruitment and retention payment equivalent to 10% of your basic salary starting from the effective date of this contract, unless you leave your post of Cardiac Physiologist . This payment will be made monthly in arrears and will be made on a pro-rata basis for part-time staff. The payment will be subject to normal statutory deductions and will not be pensionable, or count for purposes of overtime, unsocial hours payments or any other payments linked to basic pay. The payment of the Recruitment & Retention Premium (RRP) has been approved by the Trust board and is subject to regular reviews and may be extended, withdrawn or have the value adjusted subject to a notice period of six months. The RRP applies to the post. If you move to a post that does not attract the RRP, either within the same organisation or elsewhere in the NHS, you will immediately stop receiving the RRP. If you resign from the current post, the RRP will no longer be paid from the date of resignation.
