Location: Canary Wharf, London
Salary: £53,400 per annum + Benefits
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Rotating Days and Nights)
The Role
As the Shift Lead, you are the technical authority on the ground. You'll manage a small team of technicians, ensuring that all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks are executed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:

HV Switching: Act as the HVAP (High Voltage Authorised Person) on-site, managing switching schedules and issuing permits to work.

Incident Management: Lead the first-line response to any critical plant failure (UPS, Generators, LV/HV Distribution).

Team Leadership: Supervise sub-contractors and junior engineers, ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety and MOPs/EOPs.

Load Management: Monitor building management systems (BMS) and electrical monitoring systems (EPMS) to manage power redundancy.

HVAP Status: Current (or recently expired) High Voltage Authorisation is essential.

Data Center Experience: You must have a proven track record working within a critical environment (Data Centers, Banking, or Healthcare).

Technical Qualifications: City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent) and 18th Edition.
