We are recruiting for a:
Community Development Co-ordinator
Salary: £32,572 Pro rata fixed term until June 2027
37 hours per week worked flexibly, including evenings and weekends

We are recruiting for a Community Development Co-ordinator to work in Phillipstown, New Tredegar, through the Invest Local, Big Lottery, 10-year initiative targeting deprived communities in Wales.

Job Purpose
This is a key role to support the growth, development, and sustainability of Phillipstown to enable it to thrive and be a resilient, healthier, and safer community.

* To build on existing and develop new partnerships with groups, agencies, and other partners.
* To facilitate engagement and capacity build within the community with a focus on training and skills development for residents.
* To contribute toward the delivery of the Driving Change Plan and the overall objectives of the approved workplan including providing monitoring and feedback to the Phillipstown Forever Steering Group.
* To organise and facilitate events and activities including promotion and marketing.
