A vacancy has arisen within our Security Department for a Security Officer. Reporting to the Security Supervisor, you will carry out security duties at our Head Office and Distribution Centre at Longtown Road, Dundee.
Security Officer
The Security Officer will assist with the smooth running of the site and to assist with all emergency situations when they occur. This includes providing visible security cover to the site, handling enquiries and customer concerns, monitoring CCTV (by suitably trained and licensed staff) and controlling contractors and deliveries to the site.
About the Role…
Ensure that contractors arriving on site adhere fully to requirements for contractor management and site H&S in line with the company policy and site procedures.
Assist with enquiries internally and from the public as required.
Carry out duties as instructed by the Security Supervisor.
Comply fully with the Health & Safety policy for the site
About you…
Role requires a 3 shift working pattern Monday – Friday and a 2 shift 12hr shift pattern at weekends.
Experience of distribution site operations.
A willingness to adopt a flexible approach to work patterns for holiday cover and sickness.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Accurate record-keeping
Good attention to detail
Well presented. A uniform will be provided.
Computer literate.
