Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of health and social care professionals? We are proud to be partnering with a welcoming secondary school and sixth form near Chesterfield who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher to join their team.
This long-term role begins at Easter and will continue until the vacancy is filled. You'll take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivery, and assessment-perfect for someone who thrives on inspiring young people.
What You'll Be Doing
✨ Deliver creative, high‑quality lessons across KS4 and KS5
✨ Support students as they explore key themes such as human development, health principles, safeguarding, and care values
✨ Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments
✨ Track progress, provide meaningful feedback, and celebrate student success
✨ Play an active role in shaping and enhancing the department's curriculum
What We're Looking For
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent - ECTs encouraged to apply
✔ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
✔ Strong subject knowledge and experience delivering Health & Social Care
✔ Confident behaviour and classroom management
✔ A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well with staff across the school.
