Permanent Position
We are working with a well-established and reputable manufacturing company in Tamworth who are looking to add an experienced Brake Press Setter / Operator to their team.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering excellent working hours, competitive pay, and long-term stability within a busy and growing production environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating Amada press brakes, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances while maintaining a right-first-time approach.
Working Hours• Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm (early finish every week)
• Set and operate Amada press brake machines
• Manufacture parts from engineering drawings and route cards
• Ensure components meet quality and tolerance requirements
• Carry out self-inspection using measuring equipment (verniers, height gauges, etc.)
• Identify and resolve production or quality issues efficiently
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area
• Support continuous improvement within the production team
✔ Previous Amada press brake experience (essential)
✔ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
✔ Experience working to tight tolerances
✔ Confident using measuring and inspection equipment
✔ Strong attention to detail and quality standards
✔ Reliable, proactive, and team-focused attitude
£14.50 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
