Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Cardiff area. This supportive environment values the well-being of both staff and pupils. The role involves general classroom assistance as well as providing one-to-one support to pupils, ideally with experience in Additional Learning Needs (ALN). Key Attributes of the Ideal Teaching Assistant:
First-Aid experience and qualifications are highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
• Level 3 NVQ or CACHE qualification or above (preferred but not essential).
• Experience with ELSA or Thrive programmes (preferred but not essential).
• A caring, empathetic, and patient approach.
