Since 2012, Capita have been working in partnership with the British Army to deliver best in class recruitment services. The Recruiting Partnership Project (RPP) is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and selecting officers and soldiers for the Army (Regular and Reserve), meeting targets based around quantity, quality, and candidate experience.
The Army Officer Selection Board (AOSB) run selection boards which must be passed before applicants are offered a place at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. The role of the Administrator based at Westbury is to provide local support to Boards, and to liaise with the Officer Recruiter Team, Officer Project Manager, the National Recruiting Centre teams supporting Officer recruitment at Upavon and the candidate to ensure they are efficiently booked onto the events.
This role is a key member of the team working part time, 24 hours per week (ideally working across 4 days including Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, although flexible). This is a site based role, working from our offices in Westbury.
What you'll be doing:
• Carrying out general administration duties
• Preparation and delivery of Briefing folders for Assessors
• Producing accommodation list for all candidates and notify of early arrivals
• Meeting and greeting candidates, obtaining personal documents and uploading to inhouse database
• Supporting the management of candidates during selection events
• Producing letters to candidates and chasing any outstanding documents
• Obtain and collate feedback from candidates attending events
Essential qualification/skills/experience
• Previous administration experience
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Competent using Microsoft Word and Excel and adaptable to inhouse databases
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workloads
• Clear and confident communication skills, both face to face and over the telephone
