We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teachers to work on a daily supply basis across a range of welcoming and supportive schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who are looking for flexible working while gaining experience in different school environments.
As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring pupils remain engaged in their learning throughout the school day. Assignments can vary from one-day cover to short-term placements, providing valuable experience across different schools and year groups.
This role is ideal for experienced teachers looking for flexibility as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who want to build confidence, develop classroom management skills, and gain exposure to a variety of school settings.
Key responsibilities
Delivering pre-planned lessons across the primary curriculum
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
Ensuring pupils remain focused and engaged in their work
Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
Providing feedback to the school at the end of the day where required
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching within a primary or secondary school setting
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Flexibility, reliability, and adaptability
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
