Summary
Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities Promote children’s learning and development through play-based experiences Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Observe, assess, and record children’s progress Ensure safeguarding, health, safety, and welfare requirements are always met Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting, and outdoor play Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Level 2 Early Years qualification (full and relevant, e.g. CACHE, NVQ or equivalent) Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
A genuine passion for working with young children
Good communication and teamwork skills
A positive, proactive, and flexible approach Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures First Aid training – if the person does not have this then they will be required to go on a FA course – which the nursery will pay for: ( get back to us for more information )
OTHER REQUIREMENTS Must be a level 2 or above
