Working hours: 14 hours per week (Monday and Saturday)Interview Date: 20th March 2026Our Charity Shop, based in Bognor Regis, is looking to recruit a personable and organised Charity Shop Assistant to join the existing team.Key Responsibilities:Help to keep stock levels replenished through the day to support the continual generation of sales.Help to receive, sort and prepare donations ready for sale.Help to ensure that all sales are properly recorded, including operating the till, and that all money is kept safe and secure.To provide a friendly and effective sales experience to our customers.You will be confident working independently as well as part of a team; working with volunteers and members of the community.Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and health & safety.Answer the telephone and deal with all enquiries.Help to support and promote the work of The Salvation Army. The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:Excellent customer service skills.Cash handling experience and till operation.Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
