As our workload continues to grow, we’re looking for a skilled Full or Part-Time Horticultutal / Groundcare Machinery Mechanic to join our team and help keep our customers’ machinery performing at its best.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of groundcare and horticultural machinery, including:
Commercial groundcare machinery
Ride‑on mowers
Compact tractors
Pedestrian Lawnmowers
Strimmers, hedge cutters, and handheld equipment
This is a hands‑on role where no two days look the same. You’ll diagnose faults, carry out repairs, complete routine servicing, and ensure all equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for work.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Carry out servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance
Prepare machinery for sale or hire
Maintain accurate service records
Provide on‑site repairs for customers
What We’re Looking For
Experience as a groundcare, agricultural, plant, or small‑engine mechanic
Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude and pride in high‑quality workmanship
Full UK driving licence (preferred by not essential as this is a workshop based role)
