Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time SEN HLTA/Unqualified Teacher to join their team in Blackwood, Caerphilly County Borough. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs, providing high-quality instruction and engaging lessons to meet their individual needs.

As a Full-time SEN HLTA/Unqualified Teacher, you will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other members of the school staff to create and implement effective learning strategies and interventions. You will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of special educational needs, with the ability to adapt teaching methods and resources to ensure that all students can access the curriculum and make progress.

- Provide targeted support and interventions to students with special educational needs
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and differentiated lessons
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and support
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, such as extracurricular activities or staff meetings
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs
- Strong knowledge of special educational needs and effective teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
