Summary
At Call Derbyshire we are proud to provide fast and reliable contact for Derbyshire residents on a wide range of services that the Council offer – from Adult Social Care, Children’s Services, Place/Highways, Blue Badge, Welfare Rights, and general enquiries.
Our colleagues are multi-skilled in resolving enquiries by phone, email, web and socials, and we use a lot of digital/systems! You will gain a strong knowledge of our services and also utilise interpersonal skills, multi-tasking and conversations conducted with empathy and understanding. Numeracy and literacy are important skills as they feature strongly in our day-to-day work. Confidence and resilience are also important.
Rotations across enquiry teams
You’ll rotate between different types of enquiries so you can build experience quickly and keep your days varied and interesting.
If you’re enthusiastic, keen to learn and enjoy talking to people, this is a great step into customer service!
