Here's the exciting bit…a day includes
Assist with the smooth implementation of category plans including range reviews, promotions pricing and stock that are consistent with overall commercial strategy and financial objectives.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to implement buyer led marketing promotion plans and strategies developed by the buying team which adhere to legislation and brand guidelines
Help with the review and evaluation of the effectiveness of promotions
Assist with the smooth implementation of new product setup, including checking retail and cost prices
Potential to buy your own product category once you’ve settled into the role, which will offer the opportunity for future progression

What you’ll need to succeed
· Excellent organisational and communication skills: written and verbal
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to work to deadline and prioritise workload
· Able to work both following process and on own initiative
· Flexible and adaptable
· Team Player
· Confident energetic approach
· Excellent PC skills – Microsoft Office packages especially Excel
· A passion for developing a career in Buying
