About us:

Silverways School, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist day school in Enfield, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 17. Our welcoming and nurturing school provides a first-class education for up to 50 children aged between seven and 17, in small classes, where the curriculum is broad, balanced and ambitious.

Many of the children at Silverways have found mainstream education challenging and, in some circumstances, traumatic. Some children will have been out of education or have significant gaps in their attendance before joining Silverways. We help children re-engage with education by providing a safe environment and a team of outstanding teachers and support staff with a proven track record of successfully teaching children who struggle to cope in school.

Our specially designed environment has been developed to accommodate children’s sensory needs and create the best setting for them to learn and achieve their potential.

We look for people to join our staff team who have the creativity and enthusiasm needed to deliver the best outcomes for the children and young people.

We are committed to safeguarding and protecting children and we expect all colleagues to share this commitment. We will do everything possible to ensure that only those who are suitable to work with children are recruited to work for us. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020 and is subject to a range of vetting checks including a criminal records disclosure through the DBS.

We are a disability confident committed and equal opportunities employer, welcoming applications from all sections of the community.
