- £12.21per hour plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Part time 4.5hours per week, Week 1
- Monday 3.30pm – 6pm Week 2 -Sunday 10am-4.30pm.

- and right now we are looking to recruit a receptionist to join our team
As a Receptionist in our Oswestry Leisure Centre team, you’ll be the first point of contact for colleagues, customers, and visitors — helping create a welcoming and supportive environment while delivering consistently high levels of customer service.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring people feel informed, supported, and valued when they interact with us. Your work will contribute to a positive experience for customers and communities, and help create a smooth, safe, and friendly operation that supports a better future for everyone who uses our facilities.
What you’ll do as a Receptionist
You’ll be entrusted to:

Deliver excellent customer service in person and over the phone, ensuring all visitors feel welcome and supported

Provide clear and accurate information about the facility, its services, and activities

Manage daily reception operations, including in the absence of the Head Receptionist
-
Follow all health and safety procedures, promoting a safe environment for colleagues and customers

Handle cash transactions confidently, including cashing up and maintaining accurate financial records

Identify opportunities to upsell services and encourage additional customer spend

Confidence handling cash and maintaining accurate records

The ability to stay calm, positive, and solutionsfocused in busy or pressured situations

Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
