As a Warehouse Manager Tutor in our Prison Education team, you’ll play a key role in helping learners build confidence, gain new skills, and move towards a more positive future. You’ll manage a simulated warehouse workshop and guide learners through Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications that open doors to new opportunities.
You’ll create a supportive, motivating learning space where people feel encouraged to participate, grow, and achieve. Your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on helping learners prepare for employment and reintegration, contributing to safer, stronger communities.
What you’ll do as a Warehouse Manager Tutor
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in warehousing that meet qualification requirements.
- Support learners to achieve their goals while developing confidence and workplace behaviours.
- Maintain a professional, safe, and well‑organised warehouse environment.
- Oversee receiving, storing, and handling a variety of goods within the workshop.
- Enforce all health, safety, and security procedures.
- Work with average class sizes of around 16 learners, ensuring everyone receives the support they need.

Vetting and checks:An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
