We’re looking for a highly organised IT Services Office Administrator to join our friendly IT Services team for 32 hours per week, all year round. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in keeping operations running seamlessly while supporting the staff and students who rely on our services every day
You will lead the day-to-day administration of the IT Services department, supporting the IT Services Manager with diary management, budget monitoring and forecasting, procedures, and general office coordination. You’ll play a key role in keeping the department running smoothly by managing priorities, coordinating meetings, working with suppliers and contractors, maintaining software licences and inventories, and supporting procurement and technology orders across the College. The role also includes monitoring budgets and invoices, arranging contractor and visitor access, taking minutes at key meetings, maintaining staff records, overseeing stock levels and purchasing, acting as Health and Safety coordinator for IT Services, and providing occasional basic IT support to users (full training provided). We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and able to use initiative to keep things moving during busy periods while delivering excellent administrative support to the wider IT Services team. Confident to engage with our internal and external customers. GCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong team player who supports colleagues and contributes to shared success. Methodical, accurate, with strong attention to detail. Able to plan and prioritise workloads in a fast paced environment.
