Summary
Community Diagnostic Centres provide a broad range of elective diagnostics (such as checks, scans and tests) away from major hospital sites such as the Manchester Royal Infirmary. The MTCDC will be open from 8am to 8.30pm, Monday to Sunday and the HSDA cover a seven-day shift pattern in order to provide an effective and efficient service to the Centre.
The postholder of this interesting and varied role will actively contribute to and provide support across a range of diagnostic services that support our Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs), including Imaging, Cardiology, Peri-Operative, ENT, Respiratory, Endoscopy, Ophthalmology and Phlebotomy. The CDC service focuses on delivering a seamless interface between primary care, hospital and community health and social care services, ensuring the people of Manchester have access to the right services at the right time in the right location.
