Summary
Staff Psychological Wellbeing Service. We are a multi-disciplinary group of therapists providing evidence-based treatments to serve the psychological needs of staff within the North Middlesex Hospital. We accept self-referral, referral from managers and from HR / OH. We provide group and individual interventions, training and team input. Purpose of the Job: To contribute to assessment of clients referred to the service, to offer both group and 1:1 therapy. To take a lead in liaising and developing good working relationships with services across the hospital. To develop and support the psychosocial work of other staff through teaching, training supervision and consultation. To provide specialist advice to the team and voluntary sector agencies concerning the assessment, treatment and management of service users accessing team. Follow defined practices and procedures under the management and co-ordination of a senior psychotherapist/psychologist. To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the team. To take part in Quality Improvement projects. To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research. Participate in CPD and other developmental activities, keeping up to date with relevant psychological research and national guidance (DoH, NICE etc).
