Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Compliance Engineer to carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and associated remedial works within retail, commercial and office environments.

This mobile role requires delivering high-quality electrical inspection, testing and repair activities across ISS contracts within a defined regional area.​

You will be responsible for completing all relevant NICEIC certification and ensuring compliance with BS7671: 18th Edition wiring regulations.

Job Description

We are looking for a self-motivated and organised individual who can work using their own initiative while maintaining excellent customer service standards.​

The role requires ensuring all statutory, contractual and company requirements are met, while upholding high levels of professionalism and proactive customer liaison.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical testing (EICR) and all associated remedial works to required standards.

Complete NICEIC certification accurately and on time.

Ensure all work complies with BS7671: 18th Edition wiring regulations.

Undertake planned inspection, testing and remedial tasks across commercial, retail and office environments.

Provide a professional service that ensures customer satisfaction at all times.

Maintain personal and vehicle records in line with company procedures.

Comply with ISS Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures.

Ensure all administrative documents, records and certifications are completed and submitted within required deadlines.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Qualifications Required​

Electrical bias with one of the following qualification routes:

City & Guilds 2365, 2357 Level 3 and NVQ 2356 AM2
City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation plus NVQ 2356 and AM2 AND

Fully conversant with BS7671: 18th Edition wiring regulations.

Experience Required

Experience in electrical installation work within commercial, retail or office environments, or in a relevant electrical maintenance role.

Experience delivering electrical building services maintenance including fault finding, installation, maintenance and commercial inspection/testing (producing EICRs).

Previous experience providing reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) services.
