Summary

We are looking for a Graphic Designer who will create compelling, creative design work that strengthens the Trust’s brand and brings our stories and impact to life.

Are you a creative and versatile designer with a passion for nature?

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to produce engaging visual content that supports the Trust’s communications, grows our audiences and helps inspire more people to take action for wildlife. Working within The Design Hide, our in‑house creative studio, you will bring the Essex Wildlife Trust brand to life across print, digital and environmental design.

You will play a key role in maintaining a strong and consistent brand identity, working collaboratively across the Trust to deliver high‑quality design work that reflects our values. From signage and interpretation panels to social media assets, web graphics and printed materials, you’ll produce a diverse portfolio of creative content that supports our 2030 strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative and impact‑driven Communications team. You will manage your own workload through our account management system, treating colleagues as internal clients and helping deliver an efficient, professional creative service across the organisation.

The postholder will work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, contributing ideas, providing creative solutions and championing design best practice. You’ll also support colleagues by offering guidance on branding, photography, video basics and visual communication, helping to promote high‑quality content across the Trust. You will also offer guidance to colleagues outside of the Communications team on Canva.

It is essential that the postholder has demonstrable experience as outlined in the Person Specification within this job pack.

To make an application, please complete an online application form on our website by 17:00 on Sunday 22 March 2026. Interviews will be held week commencing 30 March 2026 at Abbotts Hall. We reserve the right to close this advert early. Please submit your application at the earliest opportunity.

Our values are Impactful, Collaborative, United and Proactive.
