Summary
About Dimensions
At Dimensions, you'll find a workplace that genuinely cares for you. Your wellbeing, balance, and personal growth matter just as much as the support you provide. We'll give you the tools, training, and encouragement to thrive so you can bring your best self to work every day. Here, your compassion makes a real impact, and you're valued for exactly who you are.
About the role
- Support Worker - Part-Time (22 Hours)
- Drivers required - UK Manual Licence
- Shifts: 1 long day (8am-9pm) + 1 waking night (9pm-8am) per week, plus shorter 1:1 shifts.
- Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11
You'll be supporting four gentlemen, aged from their late 40s to 60s, both in their home and out in the community. Each person has different support needs: two require full personal care, while the others need verbal prompts, encouragement, and reassurance. One gentleman uses a wheelchair when out and about, and you'll carry out safe manual handling using hoists and mobility equipment where appropriate.
Your working week will include one long day shift, one waking night, and occasional shorter 1:1 shifts focused on personalised, person-centred support. The role involves lone working at times, during both night shifts and individual daytime support, while still being part of a supportive and collaborative team.
The gentlemen enjoy a wide range of interests, such as eating out, gardening, bird watching, visiting familiar places, watching aeroplanes and jets, going to the cinema, go-karting, walks, ice creams and exploring anything that gets them out in their local town. You'll support with meal preparation and cooking, helping each person build confidence and independence.
About you
Experience isn't essential; what matters most are your values. If you're patient, kind, reliable, and passionate about helping people live full and meaningful lives, we'll provide all the training you need.
You'll feel comfortable providing personal care, working alone at times, and following detailed support plans. A full UK manual driving licence is required. Access to your own car with business insurance is benefical, though not essential.
