Summary

We're looking for an Electrical Package Engineer to join our Hogsmill Surrey team based in Surrey.

Location: Hogsmill Surrey - some remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join our team at Kier as we deliver innovative solutions for Thames Water's capital projects. As an Electrical Package Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in providing electrical engineering expertise for industrial projects, with particular focus on water recycling facilities.

What will you be responsible for?As an Electrical Package Engineer, you'll be working within the Project team, supporting them in delivering engineering design solutions. Your day to day will include:

• Establishing client requirements and delivering effective electrical engineering solutions• Engaging with suppliers and supporting the contractor delivery and commissioning process• Providing expertise for electrical distribution systems, motor control centres, and hazardous area designs• Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are successfully achieved• Applying technical judgment during construction phases while ensuring health & safety standards

What are we looking for?This role of Electrical Package Engineer is great for you if:

• You hold at least an HND qualification in electrical engineering• You have experience in electrical design on capital projects• You possess knowledge of motor control centres and electrical distribution systems• You can work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team• You have strong interpersonal skills with a focus on quality and problem-solving
