Summary

We're looking for an Operative to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Ipswich working on the Anglian Water Alliance

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Hours: 45 hours per week + on call rota

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role

Join our dynamic team maintaining vital water infrastructure and delivering essential services to communities across the region. As an Operative in our IMRDS team (integrated maintenance, repair & developer services), you'll play a crucial role in maintaining Anglian Water's supply systems, responding to emergencies, and enhancing customer service.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Operative, you'll be working within the reactive works team, supporting them in maintaining and improving the water network. Your day to day will include:

-Collaborating with team members to ensure excellent Health & Safety standards

-Building positive relationships with customers, providing reassurance and clear communication

-Supporting repair and maintenance activities across the water network

-Communicating effectively with Team Leaders and colleagues about work progress

-Contributing to the team's productivity targets through quality workmanship

What are we looking for?

This role of Operative is great for you if:

-You hold a full driving licence

-You have a valid CSCS card

-You're EUSR Water Hygiene trained or willing to undertake training

-You enjoy practical, hands-on work in a nurturing team environment

-You're passionate about delivering excellent customer service
