About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Civils Team Ganger / Lead to join our growing team working on the electrical distribution network. This role involves leading a small civils team responsible for delivering high-quality civils works that support electrical infrastructure projects.
You will take ownership of day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme while maintaining high standards of workmanship and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a small civils team on electrical network projects
Deliver and oversee civils activities including excavations, reinstatement, duct installation, and foundation works
Ensure all works comply with NRSWA and relevant safety standards
Coordinate site activities and ensure efficient use of labour, plant, and materials
Complete site documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures
Liaise with supervisors, project managers, and network operators as required
Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and quality
About you….
Proven experience working in civils on electrical or utilities networks
Experience leading or acting as a ganger / team lead
NRSWA qualification (Supervisor or Operative)
Relevant plant operator tickets (e.g., excavator, dumper, etc.)
Strong understanding of streetworks and reinstatement standards
Ability to organise work activities and lead a small team effectively
Full UK driving licence
Desirable
Experience working on power / electrical infrastructure projects
Utility sector experience (DNO or ICP projects)
Additional plant or safety qualifications
