Summary
Anexciting opportunityhas arisen to join a friendly, forward-thinking team in a9-month fixed-term rolecovering maternity leave onWard 23 and the Cardiac Intervention Unit (CIU).
Ward 23 is a uniqueCardiology inpatient wardwith 19 beds, caring for patients following acute cardiac events and those undergoing continued investigation and treatment. We also have four side rooms offering private cardiac care.
As part of this role, you’ll also have the opportunity to rotate into theCardiac Intervention Unit (CIU)– a day-case elective unit managing up to 16 patients pre- and post-procedures, including angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and cardiac ablations.
No two days are the same, and you’ll benefit from strong links with the wider cardiology services, including specialist nurses and the research team.
