Patient services NHS health checks Blood pressure checks Administering Vaccines (flu and COVID-19) Administering B12 injections Professional development Is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). meets the specific qualification and training requirements as specified by the GPhC criteria 74 to Register as a Pharmacy Technician. Enrolled in or willing to enrol in an approved training pathway. Ie. the Primary Care Pharmacy Educational Pathway (PCPEP) Is working under appropriate clinical supervision to ensure safe, effective and efficient use of medicines Health and Safety - Risk Management Must always comply with the Health and Safety policies, in particular following safe working procedures and reporting incidents using the organisations Incident Reporting Systems Comply with the Data Protection Act (2018) and the Access to Health Records Act (1990). Special working conditions The post holder is required to travel independently between work sites and to attend meetings etc hosted by other agencies. The post-holder will have contact with body fluids, i.e. wound exudates, urine etc while in clinical practice.
