Summary
Job Title: Transport Planner
Salary: Circa £30,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday – Friday (approximately 9:00am – 5:00pm, hours to be confirmed)

Key Responsibilities
Planning and coordinating daily transport routes for drivers

Organising collections and deliveries efficiently
•
Ensuring optimal vehicle utilisation and route planning
•
Monitoring deliveries and proactively resolving any transport issues
•
Communicating with drivers, customers, and internal teams
•
Managing transport documentation and maintaining accurate records
•
Ensuring all transport operations comply with relevant regulations
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Transport Planner or in a similar logistics/transport role
•
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
•
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
•
Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment
•
Confident IT skills and familiarity with transport planning systems
