Summary

Job Title: Bank / Backup Driver (Ad Hoc Cover)
Location: Welwyn Garden City, AL7 1LT, UK

We are seeking a reliable and responsible driver to join our team in Welwyn Garden City on a bank / ad hoc basis. This role is to provide cover when required, with shifts offered as needed depending on availability. Please note that there are no guaranteed hours.

About the Role
You will support a support worker by providing safe and reliable transportation throughout the working day. Responsibilities include:
• Safely transporting a support worker from her home to her workplaces and back.
• Driving a work vehicle or van on client visits alongside the support worker.
• Waiting between appointments while the support worker attends visits (you may spend this time independently in or around your vehicle).
This role suits someone who enjoys driving and is comfortable with independent downtime between journeys.

Pay & Benefits
• Flexible shifts: Work offered as and when cover is needed.
• Competitive pay: £12.60 per hour.
• Mileage allowance: 25p per mile.

Requirements
• Valid UK driving licence with no points.
• DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
