Summary

Job Title: Sales Executive
Location: Redditch
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Performance Bonus

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Sales Executive to join a well-established and growing company within the stainless steel sheet industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially driven individual who has previous experience within the stainless steel or metal distribution sector and is looking to develop their career within a supportive and ambitious business.

This is primarily an internal sales role, focused on building strong customer relationships, managing accounts, and proactively generating new business. There will also be occasional meetings with prospective clients, so strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and developing relationships with existing customers
• Proactively contacting new and potential clients to generate new business opportunities
• Handling inbound enquiries and providing quotations
• Following up on quotes and sales leads to maximise conversion
• Maintaining strong product knowledge within the stainless steel sheet industry
• Working towards individual and team sales targets
• Updating CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales records
• Attending occasional prospect meetings when required


Requirements

• Previous sales experience within the stainless steel sheet or wider metal industry is essential
• Confident and proactive communicator who is not afraid to pick up the phone
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities effectively
• Strong organisational and communication skills
