About You:
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer specialising in General Ultrasound looking for a locum role? We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer to support our client in delivering excellent ultrasound services.
Key Responsibilities:
- To undertake Ultrasound investigation on patients using the referral form and clinical condition as a basis for assessing procedure required.
- To manage your own sonographer worklist and undertake independent reporting on ultrasound examinations where appropriate.
- To organise own workload and prioritise procedures where and when necessary.
Essential Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced Sonographer (General) with:
- Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (e.g., MSc/Diploma).
- HCPC Registration.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Sonographer, ideally within the UK healthcare system.
- At least 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
