Summary
Supervisor – Coffee & Clay, Skipton
As a Supervisor, you’ll support the owner and team in maintaining the highest standards across our café, kitchen, and pottery painting studio.
We can offer flexibility with weekend shifts, which can be discussed at interview.
Your main aim is simple: ensure every customer leaves happy and wanting to return again and again under your supervision.
You’ll be a people person who leads from the front, setting the pace and tone for the team so that everyone delivers great service on time, every time.
Coffee and Clay is a well-established and loved destination for the local community of Skipton and beyond. We’re looking for someone who wants to help us protect and grow that reputation.
The Role
You are likely to be:
- An existing Supervisor or Team Leader, or
- A front-of-house team member ready to step up into management
Ideally with experience in:
Cafés
Coffee shops
Restaurants
Hospitality environments serving freshly prepared food and barista-style drinks
What We're Looking For:
- Extremely driven and proactive when overcoming challenges
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards
- Strong communication skills and a natural people person
- Reliable and organised
- Ability to lead and motivate a team during busy periods
- Previous cooking experience is a bonus
