We are recruiting on behalf of a growing children’s residential care provider for an experienced and passionate Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a 2-bed residential children’s home in Nuneaton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who is committed to creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can feel supported and achieve positive outcomes.
As the Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance with Ofsted regulations. You will lead and develop a small staff team while promoting a positive and therapeutic approach to care.
Key Responsibilities
Register with Ofsted as the Children’s Home Manager
Lead, motivate, and develop a small staff team
Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
Develop and oversee care plans tailored to each young person
Maintain strong relationships with social workers, families, and external professionals
Monitor the quality of care and drive continuous improvement
Manage the daily operations, staffing, and resources within the home
Requirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Experience working within a children’s residential home
Previous experience as a Manager or Deputy Manager
Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practices
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
A genuine passion for improving outcomes for young people
Salary & Bonus Structure
£55,000 – £60,000 annual salary
Occupancy Bonus:
£150 per month when the home has 1 child in placement
£300 per month when the home has 2 children in placement
£1,500 bonus for a Good Ofsted rating
£5,000 bonus for an Outstanding Ofsted rating
