Van Driver / Rapid Response Cleaner - Weybridge (KT13)
We are currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Rapid Response Cleaner to join our team based in Weybridge (KT13). This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position offering a varied role combining driving and cleaning duties across multiple sites.
Pay: £12.74 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday
About the Role
As a Rapid Response Cleaner, you will provide essential cover and support across sites, responding quickly to cleaning requests and maintaining high hygiene standards. The role involves travelling between locations using a company van, which can be taken home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide cover for cleaners' absences by carrying out standard site cleaning duties
- Respond to reactive cleaning requests such as spillages or sickness clean-ups, prioritised by urgency
- Work from a weekly planned schedule while remaining flexible to handle urgent tasks
- Use specialist equipment such as backpack vacuums and van kits
- Follow Pure Space cleaning methods (full training provided)
- Drive between sites as required to complete tasks
Driver Requirements
- Full UK Category B driving licence held for at least 12 months
- Comfortable with regular driving as part of the role
- Company van provided, which can be taken home
What We're Looking For
- Cleaning experience is not essential - backgrounds in care, nurseries, warehouses, or similar roles are welcome
- Adaptable and flexible with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn new working methods (full training provided)
- Able to pass BPSS security checks
- Must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years
