The Role
We are seeking a passionate, experienced and motivated Head of Pre-School to lead our setting and inspire our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated early years professional who is committed to delivering outstanding childcare and education.

As Head of Pre-School, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the setting, ensure high-quality learning experiences for all children, and support a positive and collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the daily operations of the pre-school

Ensure the setting delivers high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Inspire, support and manage staff, encouraging professional development

Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and the local community

Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted requirements

Monitor and support children’s learning, development and wellbeing

Manage administrative tasks including planning, policies and record keeping

Requirements

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5+ desirable)

Previous leadership or management experience within an early years setting

Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements

Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills

Passion for supporting young children’s development and learning
