Summary

​Equans is looking for a Contract Services Manager to join the team at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust estate in Birmingham a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package. The role is based at the Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust estate. The estates consists of retained sites throughout the area including Sandwell Health Campus and City Health Campus as well as the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH) which is a new facility incorporates high level of modern services and technology both in terms of healthcare delivery and building management. The contract also covers a number of community based properties delivering healthcare services. Equans are working closely in partnership with the Trust to ensure all facilities are maintained to a good quality and are able to provide a sustainable service to the area not only in respect to healthcare provision but also providing a diverse value to the local community. The retained site contain a range of building styles and ages with the usual services you would expect to see in a complex healthcare estate. The primary role will be to manage the day-to-day delivery of the helpdesk, administration, finance, and reporting on the contract. Ensuring that the client relationship is fostered with the prompt delivery of compliance and reporting information whilst working within our internal governance processes. The post holder will take an active leadership role in the day-to-day management of service delivery at the Trust sites as well as working as a member of the contract Senior Management Team. Due to the wide range of services and systems installed within the building the role requires a wide range of skills and flexible nature but also provides the opportunity to work in a very rewarding environment with continued opportunity for learning and development. This role will form an essential part of the operational management of the contract and will be client forward facing, the candidate will work closely with all teams and will have to have excellent communication skills to ensure all operational and contractual obligations are adhered to mitigate risk to EQUANS. The post holder will have management responsibility for all non-technical site based staff and remote support and will be required to work closely with the Head of Estates and Technical Compliance Manager to ensure effective and compliance delivery of the contract. What will you deliver?Oversee effective management of the helpdesk function, including jeopardy management utilising the CAFMReview and reporting of all deduction and KPI failures including financial penalties, Service Failure Points (SFP) and UnavailabilityTrack performance of the contract deliverables including deductions and SFPs against KPI levels to avoid relevant breach triggersProvide information to enable the Senior Management Team to agree actions to avoid breach of performance triggersManagement of finance all elements of the contract including invoicing, Work in Process (WIP), resolution of WIP disputes, debt, tracking and invoicing of over the CAP costsResponsible for first line management with regards to all EQUANS Human Resource ( including recruitment, onboarding, performance, absence, employee relations, and compliance) and Health and Safety Policies and ProceduresHave a proactive approach to SHEQ, ensuring that the safety culture is embedded and auditedHave strong interpersonal skills coupled with the strong management focus to drive performance from the teamProduce accurate and analytical reports showcasing the performance of the technical services teamAnalyses and manage the customer service satisfaction process, ensure that key actions are disseminated to the wider teamEnsure all process and procedures comply with ISO accreditationsCoordinate and input into the contractual and internal reportingProduce all reports including Monthly, Quarterly and Annual performance reports through coordinating and a putting together all required input from the on site and remote support teamsDevelopment of service-related continuous improvement initiatives, from conception to introductionDevelopment and introduction of business efficiency measures to ensure a cost effective and best value approachWhat can we offer you?
