Summary
Hours:Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
Holiday:28 days in addition to public holidays

Job purpose: Conveyancing Secretary
To assist in processing the conveyancing work in the Residential Property department
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Secretarial
1. Residential Sales, Purchases and re-Mortgages in accordance with the firm’s guidelines and protocols from time to time in force.
2. To assist your principal with the residential conveyancing work.
3. Audio typing, preparing and amending documents.
4. Copying, scanning and filing of post and other documents.
5. To undertake all necessary and ancillary tasks incidental to Residential Conveyancing.
6. Taking telephone messages accurately and making detailed notes or passing details to the appropriate person.
7. Liaising with Accounts department to obtain cheques etc, as necessary.
8. To utilise residential property case manager forms/letters.
9. Provide reception cover and carry out reception duties when required.
Skills:
• Good working knowledge of freehold residential conveyancing.
• Accurate typing
• Good sense of layout and presentation of letters and documentation and knowledge of English grammar.
• Good telephone manner
• Ability to deal with clients.
• Organisation skills, pro-active diary management and file management skills
