We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming and well-regarded junior school in the Sutton area for a maternity cover position during the Summer Term.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and inclusive school community where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
The successful applicant will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have a valid DBS on the Update Service
• Have recent experience teaching within a UK Key Stage 2 classroom
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and the ability to engage and motivate pupils
• Be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the wider school community
