Summary
Our client, a respected educational institution in Dukinfield, Borough of Tameside, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-time Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join their dynamic team. As a Teaching Assistant Level 3, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education and fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment for our students. In this position, you will be expected to:
- Assist teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons, adapting materials and activities to meet the individual needs of students
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students, helping them to overcome learning barriers and achieve their full potential
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to teachers
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans, ensuring the effective delivery of targeted interventions
- Promote the social, emotional, and behavioural development of students, acting as a positive role model and encouraging their independence and self-esteem
- Collaborate with other members of the school community, including teachers, SENCOs, and parents/carers, to support the holistic development of each student
- Undertake continuing professional development (CPD) to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices and strategies
