Summary

Our client, a thriving primary school in the charming town of Brinsley, Nottinghamshire, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Part-time Supply Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. As a Part-time Supply Teaching Assistant, you'll have the chance to work alongside our experienced teaching staff, contributing to the delivery of high-quality education and the overall wellbeing of our students. Your role will be to provide invaluable assistance in the classroom, ensuring that our learners receive the individual attention and support they need to thrive.

Your day-to-day duties will be varied and engaging, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one or small group support to students, helping them to understand lesson content and complete tasks
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation, resource development, and classroom management
- Supervising students during break times, lunchtime, and other school activities
- Monitoring and recording student progress, and providing feedback to the class teacher
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students
- Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities

To be successful in this role, we're looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:
- A relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting the holistic development of children
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Flexibility and adaptability, as you may be required to work in different classrooms and with a variety of age groups
- A keen eye for detail and a meticulous approach to record-keeping and administrative tasks
- A clean criminal record check (DBS) and the right to work in the UK
