Our client is committed to fostering a diverse, supportive community where all children can flourish. Located in the vibrant borough of Finchley, the school boasts modern facilities, abundant resources and a wealth of opportunities for professional development and growth. If you're passionate about making a lasting impact and are ready to embark on a rewarding new chapter, we encourage you to apply for this transformative role.

As an SEN Teacher, your days will be filled with the joy of helping children with diverse learning needs reach their full potential. You'll work closely with a team of experienced educators, therapists and support staff to design and deliver tailored lessons that cater to each student's unique strengths, challenges and learning styles.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments to identify students' individual needs and learning goals
- Collaborating with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to develop comprehensive Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans
- Planning and delivering engaging, multi-sensory lessons that foster academic progress and build students' confidence
- Adapting teaching methods, resources and technologies to suit the needs of students with a wide range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia and more
- Monitoring student progress, maintaining detailed records and regularly communicating with parents/caregivers
- Contributing to the school's inclusive ethos by participating in extracurricular activities, staff meetings and professional development opportunities

As an SEN Teacher at our client's school, you'll have the chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of children, helping them overcome barriers, discover their talents and reach new heights of success. Your dedication, creativity and empathy will be instrumental in creating a nurturing, supportive learning environment where all students can thrive.

To excel in this rewarding role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of professional expertise, interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a minimum of two years' experience teaching in a SEN setting
- A deep understanding of the SEN Code of Practice, relevant legislation and evidence-based teaching strategies
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with students, parents, therapists and other professionals
- Creativity, patience and a nurturing, empathetic approach to supporting students' academic, social and emotional development
- Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to share best practices with colleagues

Excited to take on this rewarding SEN teaching role? To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience, qualifications and passion for supporting children with special educational needs. We look forward to hearing from you!
