Summary


Hull City Council is seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Planning Development Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality planning outcomes across the city. This is an exciting opportunity to shape Hull’s future—supporting regeneration, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring developments enhance the character, resilience, and prosperity of our communities.
You will oversee a busy and dynamic Development Management service, ensuring that planning applications are handled efficiently, transparently, and in accordance with statutory requirements and local priorities. As a key leader within the Planning team, you will help set the strategic direction for the service and play a central role in enabling investment and development across Hull.
