Summary
I am looking for a Personal Assistant within Edinburgh. The assistant will support the elderly person to eat and drink as required, along with some personal care, and to keep them company.
The individual is also required to provide assistance to go for a walk, which will involve supporting them into their manual wheelchair and pushing the wheelchair. The Personal Assistant does not need to have prior experience of supporting someone to use a wheelchair, as they will be taught how to do so.
The assistant must be reliable, and trustworthy. It is important that the employee is aware of and sensitive towards my needs. It is important that we maintain a mutual, open, and fair relationship.
It would be great if you are able to speak in Polish, but this is not completely necessary.
20 hours per week are available, with the shift pattern to be agreed following further contact. The payment is £12.87p/h. An up to date PVG is essential.
