We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of multiple projects across our client portfolio, ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and high‑quality outcomes from RIBA stages 0-7.
Role Overview
You will oversee full project lifecycles, manage Health & Safety responsibilities, maintain governance and gateway approvals, and work closely with designers, contractors, and stakeholders. A key focus will be effective change control, risk management, and robust financial oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
-Deliver projects ensuring value for money and compliance with Mitie and client methodologies.
-Identify project success factors and translate these into clear milestones.
-Establish project roles, responsibilities, and documentation systems.
-Lead progress reporting, programme development, and monthly project review meetings.
-Manage change control and communicate contract requirements across the team.
Compliance & Health and Safety
-Take ownership of Health & Safety throughout all project stages.
-Ensure CDM compliance and maintain the project risk register.
-Promote a culture of quality, “right first time”, and continuous improvement.
Commercial & Financial Management
-Monitor budgets, cost control, and cash flow, ensuring accurate CVR reporting.
-Support procurement, subcontractor negotiation, and contract compliance.
-Work with supply chain and commercial teams to drive performance.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
-Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and project teams.
-Communicate key project information clearly and effectively.
-Encourage innovation and evaluate completed works to identify improvements.
Person Specification
Essential
-Proven project management experience across pre‑construction and construction phases.
-Strong construction knowledge, planning capability, and commercial awareness.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-Solid understanding of Health & Safety and CDM regulations.
-Flexible approach with willingness to travel.
Desirable
-Degree in construction/surveying.
-Professional membership: RICS, CIOB, RIBA, CIBSE, MIET, or APM.
-MEP experience.
-Health & Safety qualification: NEBOSH, NVQ Level 6, IOSH.

-Report risks, deficiencies, and training needs promptly.
-Use PPE and equipment correctly.

-DBS check required due to the working environment
