Your role:
As a Teacher of Science at Queen Katharine Academy, you will ignite a love of learning through dynamic, well-planned lessons that enable every student at every level to achieve their full potential. You will deliver engaging science teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5), using strong subject knowledge and creative approaches that bring scientific principles to life.
You will play a key role in shaping students’ progress through effective planning, assessment, and feedback, ensuring each learner is supported, challenged, and inspired. You will contribute to curriculum development, work collaboratively with enthusiastic colleagues, and help maintain an orderly, positive learning environment rooted in our values of Respect, Ambition and Responsibility.
To thrive in this role, you will bring secure subject knowledge, strong classroom practice, high expectations for all learners, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education. You will understand effective teaching strategies, use ICT confidently as part of learning, and build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
