Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Gardener to join our team. This is a full-time PAYE position offering job security, consistent work, and the opportunity to take pride in maintaining outdoor spaces to the highest standards.
You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of grounds maintenance and landscaping tasks across various sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out general grounds maintenance duties including:
Grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming, and leaf clearance
Weeding, planting, pruning, and mulching
General site tidiness
Maintenance of flower beds, shrub borders, and green spaces
Operate and maintain machinery such as mowers, strimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters
Undertake soft landscaping and minor hard landscaping tasks as required
Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good working order
Work as part of a team to meet schedules and deadlines
Follow health and safety policies and report any site issues or hazards
Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients and the public.
Requirements:
Ideally you will have experience of : -
Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture
Ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery safely and effectively
Good level of physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Valid Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
PA1/PA6 pesticide spraying certificates
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Horticulture, Landscaping, or related discipline
Experience working on commercial or local authority contracts
Experience working in residential private gardens
Knowledge of plants and diseases
