We are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Domiciliary Care Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality care within clients' own home settings. The areas of needs is not exhaustive and care provision may be for clients living in the community with dementia, personal care requirements, feeding, physical health needs such as mobility, or someone just requiring companionship or 24/7 Live in Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing this care service provision, supervising staff, and ensuring the well-being of our clients following their assessed needs and requirements. This role offers an opportunity to lead a compassionate team committed to providing exceptional care in the community and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.

Duties

- Assess individuals' care needs within own home
- Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans tailored to and individual's assessed needs
- Lead staff recruitment and training programmes as required.
- Supervise and support care staff, ensuring adherence to care protocols and fostering a positive, professional environment.
- Oversee daily operations within the homecare arm of our business, ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to optimise outcomes.
- Monitor individuals' health status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, CQC and local authorities' policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to care plans, medication administration, and incident reports amongst others.

Qualifications

- Proven management experience in domiciliary/homecare environments
- Strong knowledge of domiciliary homecare provision and delivery standards.
- Previous management or supervising experience within community care setting.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated competence in developing personalised care plans centred on individual needs.
- Relevant qualifications in healthcare management e.g. Level 5 in health and social care (or Level 3 and prepared to start Level 5 through Avican Support)
- Compassionate approach with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and their families, staff, and external professionals. This role is ideal for a motivated professional committed to delivering compassionate senior care while leading a dedicated team in a supportive environment.
