Summary
The children, staff and governors of Whaley Bridge ER Primary School are looking to add to our fantastic team of Mid-day supervisors.
At Whaley Bridge Primary School, we consider lunchtimes an essential part of our school day. At this time, children develop valuable social skills, and the Mid-day role is a valued part of our team.
The start date for the post is as soon as possible following the completion of the necessary employment process checks. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 11.30am to 1.15pm each day.
Duties will include supervising the children during their lunchtime, encouraging active play and ensuring the welfare and safety of all pupils. The role does also include the setting up and clearing of the chairs and tables in the hall. Previous experience of working with children (including raising own) is desirable.
If successfully appointed you will be expected to be able to build excellent relationships with our children, the mid-day team, and teaching staff and have a willingness to learn and undertake further training as required.
